Hey, I’m Kenyana.

I’m the founder of 81Eighteen™ LLC, a curriculum-based marketing firm specializing in email marketing education for underestimated entrepreneurs. I’m the creator of the Fe-Mail Marketing for Entrepreneurs (FEMME) Academy™, a school teaching email marketing curricula to women and gender-expansive creatives and innovators. I’m the host of the That ShiFt Podcast™, a show about the shifts that shape how underestimated entrepreneurs grow and scale.

I’m an alumna of Alfred University – BA ‘04, the University of Phoenix — BS ‘12 and MBA ‘14, and the University of Buffalo, School of Management, Center of Entrepreneurial Leadership — Minority & Women Emerging Entrepreneurs ‘19 and Core ‘22. I’m a doctoral student in the School of Advanced Studies at the University of Phoenix — DBA ‘27.

I’m Cornell University certified in Women’s Entrepreneurship and HubSpot certified in email marketing, inbound, content marketing, inbound sales, inbound marketing, and frictionless sales. I’m National Society of Leadership and Success certified in advanced and executive leadership, a Karen Lee Spaulding Oishei Fellow for Leader of Color, an active member of the ForbesBLK global community, and a Marquis Who’s Who honoree ‘24.

I’m the author of the It’s All About Strategy series. A Practicable Approach prioritizes building online presence, increasing awareness, and generating leads. A Prospective Approach focuses on retargeting and re-engaging existing customers, monetizing content, and accelerating sales. A Progressive Approach concentrates on creating cadence, timing, and continuity. A Predictable Approach centers on building back-end systems for automation, measurement, and consistency.

I’m the president of the Western New York Chapter of the National Black MBA Association. I’m the epistoleus for the Eta Rho Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated, and the chapter representative for the Western New York National Pan-Hellenic Council. I serve on several nonprofit boards and committees, including Wonder Brink and Open Buffalo. I’m BoardSTRONG certified in nonprofit governance education: good practice for good boards.
